Aussie Duo blow unsuspecting First60 crowd away!
With help from Angus and Julia Stone, Fired-Art presented another top class evening of live music entertainment.
The supporting Strike the Colours were a huge hit, with their quirky folky sound. Angus and Julia Stone and band held the crowd enthralled with their pared back and mesmerising sounds. How many instruments can one person play? Julia played harmonica, keyboard, clarinet and trumpet (not all at the same time though!) and of course sang- what a voice! And some of the friendliest and laid back Aussies you're ever bound to meet. Their EP, Chocolates and Cigarettes, is now on permanently in the cafe. Our favourite song is Mango Tree. They spent a lot of time in the cafe the day after their gig working on stuff for their new EP, The Beast!
